Earlier tonight, I watched Roger Federrer beat Rafael Nadal in 4 sets to take the Wimbledon Men's Singles finals. The tournament which normally attracts a huge TV following seems to have be eclipsed by the single biggest sporting event in the world.
Amidst all that sporting excitement, Jo's dad was today conferred with a DSPN (Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri) which carries the title "Dato'". His tireless work towards the betterment of sport and fitness at long last rewarded in a small way.
So, its back to the match tonight - Italy vs. France. Both equally good, this match is poised to be an exciting encounter. I just hope they aren't too defensive. The match will be starting shortly.. I don't intend to do a simulblog, so I will be signing off soon. Meanwhile here are some pics of Jo & Ethan... guess who they'll be cheering on?
